Godsil talks bankruptcy in documentary

-

COOLBOY WOMAN Jillian Godsil – a candidate in the Local and European elections – is to feature in a new documentary discussing the difficulties she faced when confronted by bankruptcy.

The documentary, An Uncomfortable Truth, is being filmed by Daragh Murphy of November Seven Films and David Martin Murphy of No Labels who said the documentary will lay bare the truth behind the collapse of the Celtic Tiger and tell the story that Europe did not want to hear.

Jillian is one of Ireland's first female bankrupts under the new Insolvency laws. She lost everything when her business got into trouble and her marriage floun- dered. Jillian said TV3 has already expressed an interest in the film and a meeting with RTE is also imminent so it is expected to be broadcast on television here in Ireland and also in America.
