Div 4 West - Dunlavin 1-9; Kil­te­gan 1-7 DUNLAVIN got their first win in Di­vi­sion 4 West at Kil­te­gan on Thurs­day.

The Kil­dare bor­der side picked up their first brace of points with a nar­row win af­ter a great bat­tle. They led by 05 to 0-3 at half time and a goal by Der­mot Dee­gan early in the sec­ond half sent them on their way

Dunlavin - Der­mot Dee­gan 1-2; Timmy Met­calfe 0-3; Ciaran Tack­aberry, Vin­cent Byrne, Bran­dan O'Rourke and Der­mot O'Rourke 0-1 each. Kil­te­gan - John Keogh 1-1; James Doyle 0-2; Dar­ren Hob­son, Mark Ryan, Dar­ren Nolan, and Colm O'Con­nor 0-1 each. Strat­ford/Grange­con 3-7; Val­ley­mount 4-4 A late goal by John O'Sul­li­van helped Val­ly­mount the squeeze out a draw with Strat­ford/Grange­con at Val­ley­mount. 'Red' David Mi­ley was gop scorer with 2-2; while the other scor­ers for the home side were - Adam Con­lon 1-1 and Adrian Mi­ley 0-1;

Paddy McKet­rick was top scorer for Strat­ford-Grange­con with 2-2; Ciaran Byrne get­ting the other goal and Sean O'Neill, James Whelan, Matt Man­ley, and Der­mot Phe­lan shared the points. Lacken - 2-8; Donard-The Glen 0-11 Lacken just about sur­vived in a hard enough bat­tle at Donard where the young home side put up stiff re­sis­tance for most of the way. Dean Mann was top scorer for Donardthe Glen with 0-7; Colm O'Neill, Jack Gra­ham, Gerry Daly and Steven Donoghue scored 0-1 each
