Thank You: We would like to thank all the people - the young and the not so young - who helped in many dif­fer­ent ways to make our Holy Week and Easter Cer­e­monies the joy­ous cel­e­bra­tions they were. Very many people were in­volved in pre­par­ing the Cel­e­bra­tions, get­ting the church ready in ev­ery way, and many more in­volved dur­ing the cel­e­bra­tions. Brass Me­mo­rial Plates: In many Churches, in­clud­ing our own, there are a num­ber of brass me­mo­rial plates at­tached to the seats in mem­ory of de­ceased loved ones. These are a tan­gi­ble method of hon­our­ing those we have loved. While we al­ready have a plate on each seat in Holy Redeemer, we would like to of­fer this op­por­tu­nity to many more people.

Plates, made from the high­est qual­ity brass, can be placed one at each end of ex­ist­ing seats. The cost of each plate will be €300. Ev­ery­one named on the plates will be in­cluded in a spe­cial me­mo­rial Mass to held each Novem­ber. Lour­des 2014 - 7th to 12th Septem­ber: The par­ish will again join the Dioce­san Pil­grim­age to Lour­des in Septem­ber. The fully in­clu­sive price is €707pps. Book­ing forms are avail­able in the sac­risty or at the Par­ish Of­fice - re­turn the form with a de­posit of €100 to se­cure a place.

Church Gate Collection: This weekend the church gate collection is in aid of the lo­cal St. Vin­cent de Paul con­fer­ence of St. Clare.

Par­ish Trip to Bucharest: Tonight (Wed­nes­day) the fi­nal meet­ing takes place at 7pm. in the Church. A rep­re­sen­ta­tive from Marathon Travel & the tour guide, who is from Bucharest, will an­swer any ques­tions you may have re­gard­ing the trip.

Share Ap­peal - This Weekend: The Share Ap­peal Collection will take place at all the masses next weekend. Sup­port­ing parishes through­out the dio­cese with a broad range of ser­vices.

Grand Sum­mer Raf­fle: Tick­ets are now on sale and cost €1 each or €5 for a book of 6. The draw will take place at the Par­ish Fete in St. Fer­gal's Se­nior Na­tional School on Satur­day June 14th.

The Cure of Vit­to­rio Micheli in Lour­des 1963 (Sar­coma of the Pelvis): Vit­to­rio Micheli, 63rd Mir­a­cle of Lour­des, will give his tes­ti­mony on his mirac­u­lous cure in St. Fer­gal's Church on Mon­day 19th May at 7pm. There will also be a talk and slideshow given by Car­di­ol­o­gist Mario Botta & Mem­ber of A.M.I.L. All are wel­come. Our Lady Queen of Peace Lour­des 2014: Our an­nual Lour­des Pil­grim­age this year will take place from Septem­ber 7th to Septem­ber 12th , Price €707. Divine Mercy: A Divine Mercy Mass will be cel­e­brated in this Church on Fri­day at 8pm. All wel­come.

Queen of Peace Ad­ven­ture Youth Club will be­gin wa­ter sports on Tues­day May 6. This will in­volve ca­noe­ing, body board­ing, coas­t­eer­ing, and snorkelling. Due to in­creased mem­ber­ship new lead­ers are needed es­pe­cially ca­noe­ing in­struc­tors. Ses­sions are for one to three hours each week, so if in­ter­ested call Al­bert on 0876756439. The of­fi­cial open­ing of the div­ing sea­son at Hook Head County Wex­ford was a huge suc­cess. Weather and sea con­di­tions were per­fect. Bray Divers en­joyed seven great dives down to depths of thir­teen me­tres in­clud­ing cave, and wreck dives. Divers were Jack Hickey, Louis Oakes, Al­bert Kerr, and David Kerr. Next away trips will be to Portroe Slate Quarry near Ne­nagh County Tip­per­ary, and to Saint John's Point in Done­gal. ANX­I­ETY/PANIC SUP­PORT

The anx­i­ety and panic sup­port group meet on Wed­nes­day evenings in the Bal­ly­waltrim Com­mu­nity Cen­tre at 7.30 un­til 9.30pm. We pro­vide a sup­port ser­vice leading to re­cov­ery from all anx­i­ety dis­or­ders or panic at­tacks. All are wel­come. Last Thurs­day night James Scan­nell ,Vice-Chair­man & PRO of the Bray Cualann His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, the lo­cal his­tory so­ci­ety for Bray and North Wick­low, was the guest speaker for the , So­ci­ety April meet­ing in the Bray Cham­ber of Com­merce House, 10 Prince of Wales Tce., Quins­boro Road, Bray, at which he pre­sented his il­lus­trated talk ' Sav­ing the drown­ing Sailors - The De­cem­ber 1943 MV Ker­logue Bay of Bis­cay Res­cue.'

The Thurs­day May 15th meet­ing will be held in Bray Methodist Church, Florence Road, Bray, and all mem­bers and sup­port­ers of the So­ci­ety are asked to note this change in venue.

To mark the 150th An­niver­sary of the Methodist Church in Bray, the Methodist Com­mu­nity of Bray and the Bray Cualann His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety will hold a spe­cial talk by Rev. Dud­ley A. Le­vi­s­tone Cooney, Methodist His­to­rian, im­me­di­ate past Pres­i­dent of the Old Dublin So­ci­ety and cur­rently one of it's Vice-Pres­i­dents, on ' A His­tory of Method­ism in Bray & North Wick­low ' at 8pm, All wel­come to at­tend - ad­mis­sion free but a vol­un­tary do­na­tion is re­quested.

The Bray Cualann His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety Sum­mer Out­ing on Sun­day May 18th will be to Arig­ina Coal Mine, Car­rick-On-Shannon, and Kings House, Boyle ,Co. Roscom­mon. The May ' Good Neigh­bour Morn­ing ' meet­ing of the Bray Ac­tive Re­tire­ment As­so­ci­a­tion takes place on Fri­day morn­ing at 10.45am in the Lit­tle Flower Hall be­side the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Bray.
