Triple A celebrates a ‘Lotto’ funding
THE Triple A Alliance will receive funding from the National Lottery, along with Arklow Mental Health Association.
The Wicklow Triple A Alliance will use this grant towards funding three different programmes for children with Autism, Asperger Syndrome and ADHD.
The Arklow Mental Health Association has earmarked this funding to assist in presenting a drama on suicide and suicide prevention.
Both grants were recommended after an independent appraisal by officials in the Department of Health.
Minister Simon Harris said that two very deserving Wicklow organisations were successful in their applications for the funding.
‘ The grants will go a long way in contributing to the great work which they carry out. I know from personal experience of the assistance which the Triple A Alliance has given to families of children and adults with Autism, Asperger Syndrome and ADHD in Greystones and the wider community.’
