SANTA AND HIS ELVES Pow­er­scourt House 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The kids will be en­chanted as they visit Santa and his elves at Pow­er­scourt House and take the time to visit the man in red’s real life deer in the sta­bles. Cost: €10 per child (adults go free).

CHRIST­MAS STA­BLES Pow­er­scourt Gar­den Pavil­ion Sta­bles 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids will love the chance to visit some of Santa’s favourite farm an­i­mals, in­clud­ing his deer, pygmy goats, minia­ture don­keys, rab­bits and guinea pigs. Adults and chil­dren of all ages are wel­come to pay a visit the sta­bles, which is free of charge.

CHRIST­MAS TASTES, THEMES AND TOURS Russ­bor­ough House 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. En­joy the magic of Christ­mas and some fes­tive flavours, in­clud­ing Lady Beit’s spe­cial mulled claret, dur­ing a sea­sonal visit to his­toric Russ­bor­ough House. View some of Lady Beit’s Christ­mas cards from down the decades as well as the stun­ning rooms with fes­tive themes. Tick­ets: €10.

CHRIST­MAS IS­LAND Hid­den Val­ley Hol­i­day Park 3 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Go on a spe­cial jour­ney to Christ­mas Is­land to meet Mrs Claus, have fun with the elves, write a let­ter to Santa and make an or­na­ment for your Christ­mas tree. You will then de­part Christ­mas Is­land on Santa’s mag­i­cal sleigh boat to go see the big man him­self in Santa’s Grotto. Tick­ets, which must be booked in ad­vance at www.christ­ma­sis­land.ie, cost €15 per child and €12 per adult.
