CHRISTMAS STABLES Powerscourt Garden Pavilion Stables 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults and children of all ages are welcome to pay a visit the stables, which is free of charge.

LAKESHORE WONDERLAND Avon Ri, Blessington 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission for children (one adult goes free, additional adults pay €5) is €18 and includes a visit to Santa, a gift and hot chocolate and full access to Santa’s Lakeshore Wonderland. CHRISTMAS TASTES, THEMES AND TOURS Russborough House 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Tickets: €10.

CHRISTMAS ISLAND Hidden Valley Holiday Park 1 p.m. to 8.15 p.m. Tickets, which must be booked in advance at www.christmasisland.ie, cost €15 per child and €12 per adult.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT Bridge Community Centre, Arklow 6.30 p.m. The Arklow Youth Centre Christmas concert takes place the Bridge Community Centre at 7pm. The concert is open to adults and will showcase a wealth of Arklow talent. Admission is free. TINKERBELL’S WONDERLAND AND CHRISTMAS VILLAGE Talk of the Town, Kiltegan 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kiltegan will get a taste of the North Pole as Santa arrives by sleigh to meet the children at this festive experience in aid of Tinkerbell Pre-school. Please note: tickets to see Santa had to be booked in advance.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS Delgany 7.30 p.m. It’s hoped the whole village will come together outside the mini-market for some festive singing. Refreshments will be served in the Horse and Hound.
