LAKESHORE WON­DER­LAND Avon Ri, Bless­ing­ton 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ad­mis­sion for chil­dren (one adult goes free, ad­di­tional adults pay €5) is €18 and in­cludes a visit to Santa, a gift and hot choco­late and full ac­cess to Santa’s ab­so­lutely fun-tas­tic Lakeshore Won­der­land.

WHITE CHRIST­MAS Mer­maid Arts Cen­tre 8 p.m. ‘Tis the sea­son for feel-good clas­sic movies and they don’t come much bet­ter than this all-time favourite Christ­mas cracker from 1954, star­ring Bing Crosby, Danny Haye and Rose­mary Clooney. Bound to put even the most stub­born Scrooge in a fes­tive mood, you’ll find it dif­fi­cult not to sing along.
