Giant snow globe part of Christmas in Bray

A GIANT Christmas snow globe complete with snow and a magical setting will be set up at the Town Hall in Bray on the four Saturdays before Christmas.

You can get a family picture taken inside the giant globe from midday on December 13, 14, 20 and 21.

The festivitie­s continue in the town with Santa, Mrs Claus and the elves all at the Town Hall also from midday on those dates.

A live crib including a nativity scene and live animals will be part of the magic.

While the Bray People is accepting letters to deliver to Santa, he will also have a post box at the Town Hall for boys and girls to drop their letters.

Meanwhile, shopping local is encouraged this Christmas with a shopping stroll and a chance to win a festive Christmas hamper.

Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays for the month of December in designated Bray Municipal District car parks.

To book places to see Santa go to www.christmasi­nbray.com. Each child will get to meet the elves in their workshop, hear stories from Mrs Claus and have a private meet and greet with Santa where they will receive their own gift. It’s €12 per child or €30 for a family with a maximum of four children. It’s €8 for a child under two.
