Talkative Brady warned to ‘make it snappy’ by Fox

SINN Fein’s Cllr John Brady was rapped on the knuckles for talking too long at Monday’s meeting.

He was discussing proposals relating to a full-time fire service for the area and expressed disappointment that recommendations from a previous report following the deaths of two Bray firefighters was not already introduced.

‘You have taken 10 minutes to say what you could say in five. If every member did this then you do the maths on how long we’ll be here. ‘You’ll have to be snappier,’ said Cathaoirleach Chris Fox. ‘I don’t think it is fair to censor anyone on such an important issue,’ said Cllr Brady.
