New Baltinglass fire station unlikely

CLLR Tommy Cullen sought an update on the proposed new fire station building for Baltinglass following the Bray report by Fire Chief Aidan Dempsey.

‘ There was an application for a new building. When will that be built?’ he asked.

Mr Dempsey said that it doesn’t appear likely that finances will allow for the build in the near future but said that it is expected to be at the top of the list in terms of priority.

Cllr Cullen paid tribute to the fire service staff in West and South Wicklow for the excellent work that they do.
