Mozart’s compositio­ns performed at St Fergal’s

GREYSTONES Orchestra performed the music of Mozart recently with a concert in St Fergal’s Church in Bray.

The orchestra celebrated the legendary composer with pieces including the Overture to Cosi Fan Tutte, Piano Concerto No 23, The Parish Symphony and others.

Ronan O’Reilly was conductor on the night with pianist Aileen Cahill as soloist.

St Joseph’s Glasthule Parish Choir were special guests for the moving evening of music.

Ten per cent of the proceeds from tickets will be donated to Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

Greystones Orchestra is a mixed ability group which welcomes new players. They rehearse on Monday nights at St Patrick’s National School in Greystones at 8 p.m.
