Mozart’s com­po­si­tions per­formed at St Fer­gal’s

GREY­STONES Or­ches­tra per­formed the mu­sic of Mozart re­cently with a con­cert in St Fer­gal’s Church in Bray.

The or­ches­tra cel­e­brated the leg­endary com­poser with pieces in­clud­ing the Over­ture to Cosi Fan Tutte, Pi­ano Con­certo No 23, The Parish Sym­phony and oth­ers.

Ro­nan O’Reilly was con­duc­tor on the night with pi­anist Aileen Cahill as soloist.

St Joseph’s Glasthule Parish Choir were spe­cial guests for the mov­ing evening of mu­sic.

Ten per cent of the pro­ceeds from tick­ets will be do­nated to Wick­low Hospice Foun­da­tion.

Grey­stones Or­ches­tra is a mixed abil­ity group which wel­comes new play­ers. They re­hearse on Mon­day nights at St Pa­trick’s Na­tional School in Grey­stones at 8 p.m.
