NTA roads schemes

CLLR JOE BEHAN asked if members will get to see NTA works before they proceed.

He said that with capital schemes the NTA step in, ‘and we get left with designs we didn’t see’. He noted a preliminary design done on the Vevay Road-Killarney Road cycle scheme.

Engineer Liam Burke said that there would be public consultation but when it comes to further detail designs afterwards small items change. ‘ The final Strand Road will be pretty much the same as when it went out for consultation.’
