The under-10s faced Aughrim at home in the last game of season and suffered their first loss in a 5-1 defeat. The Glens were missing a few players missing due to the Holy Communion but know they were beaten by a very good Aughrim team. However, it has been a great season for Alan Prendergas­t troops with 14 wins, one draw and just one one loss so well done under-10s.

The under-12s drew 0-0 with Ashford in the shield. Considerin­g a few of the panel were missing as they had to sing at the First Communion Mass, this was a great result and keeps their shield hopes alive.

The Seniors were at home to MK Dons on Sunday and won 5-1. Josh O’Callaghan netted two first half goals as the glens led 2-0 at the break. Josh completed his hatrick in the second half and Colm Nolan and Niall Devlin completed the scoring. This was a good result and team performanc­e with Simon Doyle and Josh outstandin­g.
