A movie from the golden age of daft thrillers about families menaced by insidious intruders, Curtis Hanson’s irresistible film is the story of an evil nanny.

This child-minding role could not have been placed in better care than that of Rebecca De Mornay; she gives a splendidly chilly performance, as she sets out to destroy a naive woman and steal her family.

This 1992 offering, also stars Annabella Sciorra, Matt McCoy, Ernie Hudson, Madeline Zima and Julianne Moore.
