An elderly French holiday visitor was the latest victim of crime in Bray last weekend.

The 73-year-old tourist lost a camera and around £50 in cash when her handbag was snatched by a group of youths at Quinsboro Road shortly before 7 p.m. on bank holiday Monday night.

The elderly victim had been walking with a friend when they were approached from behind by three youths who grabbed her bag and fled.

The bag was recovered a short time later. All of the personal effects including a bank card were in the bag, with a sum of cash and a camera missing.
