En­niskerry will have 60 chil­dren rep­re­sent­ing the area in the Wick­low Com­mu­nity Games Fi­nals in Shil­le­lagh on SUn­day next. Good luck to all the boys and girls who have trained so hard.

DARTS FI­NAL

Joe Walsh leads his mem into the Cup Fi­nal of the Bor­ough League Darts on Thurs­day night in Sal­lynog­gin against favourites The Magic Car­pet. The En­niskeery team will be try­ing to end the sea­son on a high note.

CUP FI­NAL WIN

En­niskerry YC soc­cer team won the Tom Cullen Cup in the Le­in­ster Soc­cer League to cap a good year.

GAA AC­TION

A good win over New­cas­tle helps En­niskerry move up the Di­vi­sion 3 County League and also pre­pares for the Cham­pi­onship ahead.

Well done to all the teams who took part in the Street Games Fes­ti­val on Saturday, June 4. The fes­ti­val was or­gan­ised by KAPS – Kil­coole Area Play Space and was a most en­joy­able event, with great ideas com­ing from lo­cal chil­dren who en­tered the com­pe­ti­tion to in­vent a new street game in­spired by the chil­dren of 1916.

The Com­mit­tee: Sarah Don­nelly, Gemma Darby, Ni­cola Devlin, Jill Kenny Fin­nerty, Aileen Quaid, Tom For­tune and Jen­nifer O’Hara would like to thank ev­ery child who en­tered and who came along to play on the day. The win­ning game is called ‘Throw a Stone, Say a Fact’ pre­sented by Best Friends 1 and 2: Aoife Keat­ing and Ab­bie Cooke.

There was no jack­pot win­ner in last week’s draw. The num­bers drawn were 8, 11, 15 and 20. SET DANC­ING

Join the staff of the Wick­low Moun­tains Na­tional Park on Saturday, June 25, for a gen­tle walk and learn how to iden­tify some flow­ers.

The walk starts from the In­for­ma­tion Of­fice by the Up­per Lake, Glen­dalough at 11 a.m. This event is suit­able for adults and older chil­dren only. No dogs please.

It is free of charge, but please be aware that the Up­per Lake car park (Wick­low County Coun­cil) has a €4 charge. Book­ing is es­sen­tial. Book­ings will only be taken from Saturday, June 11. To book, please phone 0404 45425.
