Casting day for film and television work

MovieExtras.ie are holding a casting day for extras at the Royal Hotel in Bray on Saturday, August 27 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

They are looking for extras of all ages, shapes and sizes. No experience is needed as full training is provided.

They will have thousands of days on set over the coming months with lots of different productions.

Currently their members are involved in a number of projects including US TV series ‘Into the Badlands’. RTE’s ‘Striking Out’, ‘Bridget and Eamon’, and a confidential European Feature Film. Members are also on Fair City, Republic of Telly and a range of adverts and promotsions. Registraion includes training and a photoshoot. It costs €99.95 on the day for a year to include training and photos.

MKF will have makeup artists in attendance at the photoshoot event. There is no extra charge to have makeup applied but it may increase your waiting time on the day. If you are interested in having makeup applied, ensure you arrive with a natural look.

Those who pre-pay before midnight on Friday will get €20 off and two extra photos. Members get full training, a year’s membership, a microsite with your photos and details. Your details will be available to production companies and casting directors. Members get updates about autitions and TV programmes seeking contestands and audience members.
