MUSIC IN CALARY
The next concert in Calary Church will take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, when Musici Ireland will play works by Beethoven, Boccherini and Dohnanyi. The performers will be Helena Wood (violin), Beth McNinch (viola) and Grainne Hope (cello).
Their programme will be Beethoven’s Op.3 in Eb followed by Boccherini’s String Trio in D major, Op.14, No.4 and ending with Dohnanyi’s Serenade Opus 10. Tickets, which are €18 and €15 for concessions, can be booked by ringing John at 01 2818146 or by email to derekneilson@ eircom.net.

BADMINTON
Badminton will be started back in Aras An Tochar on Mondays and Wednesdays on September 5 at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome, both new and returning members. We will be having an opening week this week so if you would like to try out a new sport it’s the perfect opportunity. Look forward to seeing you all there.
YOGA
Yoga classes will resume on Thurs. September 15. in Roundwood Parish Centre at 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Class will include Asana (Physical stretches and strengthening) Pranayama (breathing techniques), Deep relaxation and Meditation. MATHS LESSONS
Rebecca Delamere will be teaching group Maths lessons on a weekly basis in the Parish Hall in Roundwood for secondary school students. Class sizes will be very small and there will be classes at different levels. These lessons provide support for students who may be struggling with Maths in school, support for students who are aiming for high grades and also prepare students for their Maths exams. MASS OF THE ANGELS
Our annual Mass of Remembrance will be on Saturday, October 1, at 6.30 p.m in Roundwood Church. This special Mass will be for the parents and families of babies who died before birth, at birth, or in infancy, and for those who died in early childhood, youth and young adulthood either in recent years or in the past. We extend a very warm welcome to all parents, families, relatives and friends who have suffered such a loss

A meeting for anyone interested in setting up a Men’s Shed in the Roundwood area will take place at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, September 12, in Roundwood Parish Hall.
COMMUNITY COUNCIL
The Roundwood and District Community Council will return to their regular meetings after their August break on Monday, September 12, at 8.30 p.m. in Roundwood Parish Hall.
The Community Council meets the second Monday of every month to discuss various issues including parking, Tidy Towns, broadband, youth facilities, Vartry Reservoir walks and much more.

Set Dancing continues every Thursday night in Kavanagh’s Lounge from 9 p.m. till 11 p.m. with music this month by the O’Kane family.
