SPOOKY HALLOWEEN GAMES Wicklow Gaol 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Do you have what it takes to find out what’s hidden in the mysterious witches cauldron. Tickets: €5 for a child or €20 for a family ticket. HALLOWE’EN FUN Bridgewater Shopping Centre 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Hallowe’en costume, trick and treat trail and free face painting. All events are free. KIDS’ HALLOWE’EN PARTY Imaal Hall 2 to 4.30 p.m. The Dunlavin Residents Association invites children (up to primary school age only) to this fun Hallowe’en party in the Imaal Hall. There will be a super slide, twin lane superslide, dino playzone (under threes), toddler slide and disco. Children to be supervised by a parent/ guardian at all times. Entry: €4 per child. FAMILY FANCY DRESS PARTY O’Toole Hall, Rathdangan 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. If weather permits there will be a scary ghost chase from New Park down to O’Toole Memorial Hall. The chase will be followed by a pirate puppet show, magic, games and finally a disco. FIREWORKS AT THE WEIR Baltinglass 6 p.m. The annual firework display, sponsored and organised by Germaines, takes place on the Weir followed by a children’s fancy dress party back at Germaines. There is a €2 charge for the party with all proceeds go to Temple Street. HALLOWEEN CHILDREN’S DISCO Abigail’s, Baltinglass Golf Club 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Get on your best costume and enjoy a frightfully good night at Abigails’ kids’ discofrom6.30p.m. to8.30p.m. Therewill be lots of prizes up for grabs. DRAG BINGO Royal Hotel, Bray 7 p.m. This Hallowe’en drag bingo night is taking place to raise money for Meningitis Research Foundation and Pieta House and is being held in memory of two Bray teenagers, Keelan O’Connor and Jack Harvey, who passed away in 2015. Tickets: €15. Mermaid Arts Centre 8 p.m. This terrifying thriller, based on a Stephen King novel, tells the story of a girl brought up by her psychotically religious mother. When her fellow pupils tease Carrie ruthlessly and are disciplined, they hatch a plot that unleashes some very serious consequences. Tickets €8.50 (€7 concession). ADULT FANCY DRESS DISCO Gio’s at Germaine’s, Baltinglass 9 p.m. ‘Breaking Bad’ is the theme for this adult fancy dress party so channel Walter White or Jessie and head along for an evening of fun after the fireworks.
