Glendaloug­h Camino: Will be held on Sunday, November 6,. Dedication Eucharists will be held at 9.30 a.m. in St Kevin’s Church, Holywood, and St John’s Church, Laragh, to begin the day. Those who would like to undertake the full challenge (to walk the St Kevin’s Way) will set out from Holywood Church following the Eucharist and will aim to reach the Upper Lake at Glendaloug­h for 3.30 p.m. where a short ceremony will take place to complete the day. Others may start at any time or any location during the day to also aim to reach the Upper Lake for 3.30 p.m. for the closing ceremony. of

Sacrament of Reconcilia­tion – (Confession­s): St Mary’s – Enniskerry: Saturday after 10.15 a.m. Mass; Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray – Saturday after 10.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Masses; Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray Saturday after 10 a.m. Mass.

The Rosary: The Rosary is recited each morning (Monday to Saturday) at 10 a.m. (before Morning Mass and at 7 p.m. in the Prayer Room in St Mary’s on the first Monday of the month.

Annual Mass for Deceased: Will take place on Friday, November 11, at 7.30 p.m. in St Mary’s Parish Church for all parishione­rs whose funerals were held in St Mary’s, St Mochonog’s, St Patrick’s, and St Kevin’s churches in the past year. If you would like to add the name of a loved one who died and had their funeral outside the parish please contact the Parish Office.

Helpers Wanted: God’s Housekeepe­rs are looking for help on Monday mornings for half an hour from 10.45 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. to clean St Mary’s Church, even if you cannot commit to every week, every second week, once a month, all help appreciate­d.

Legion of Mary--Kilmacanog­ue Presidium: Meet at 3.30 p.m. every Tuesday in the Sacristy of St Mochonog’s. New members are most welcome. Group recite the Rosary on the first Saturday of each month at midday at the Grotto in the church grounds. Click on the link legionofma­ry.ie to view website.

ENNISKERRY HISTORY SOCIETY

Meetings of the Enniskerry History Society which meets under the guidance of its President John Callan, will resume on Thursday, November 10, at 8.30 p.m. in the Powerscour­t Arms and Country House Hotel when Frank Tracy will present his lecture ‘The story of Glencree’. All welcome admission €4.

ENNISKERRY LIBRARY

Opening hours are as follow: Tuesday and Wednesday – 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.; Friday – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Book Club will be continuing and will meet on the last Wednesday of every month. Enniskerry YC had two Cup games over the weekend winning one and drawing the second game.

DARTS

Powerscour­t Arms Dart tram played their first game in their league last night, they will be at home next Tuesday. Mark Quinn defeated Greg Leahy in an exciting final of the members.

OLDEST

The death occurred of Mrs Ross, mother of Transport Minister, in her 97th year. The family lived in Enniskerry for over 40 years.

WALKERS

Enniskerry Walkers are out again on Saturday week at usual time.
