Colly Yeoman runs his fitness classes at the GAA pitch every week. Bootcamp Monday 7 p.m. Strength and Condition Class Wednesday at 7.00 all at the Newcastle GAA pitch. Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness male or female.

Fitness Transforma­tion is glad to announce that Yoga Fitness is back for a new six week term in Newcastle Community Centre, starting this Thursday at 7 p.m. Classes are €10 per class or €50 pay up front for six classes. Yoga Fitness is for all levels of fitness. Mats are provided. If interested or have any queries please pm on fitness transforma­tion on the Facebook.

YOGA

Yoga and Mindfulnes­s Classes are on Mondays in Newcastle Le Cheile 7.45 p.m. – 8.45 p.m. and Thursdays from 10.30 a.m. – midday. These classes include yoga postures, mindful breathing and relaxation/meditation practices and are suitable for all ages and level of fitness. Drop in possible €16. Contact Angelika 087 2176068.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

Badminton takes place every Tuesday at 8.30 p.m. New members are always welcome and it’s a great way to keep fit.

COUNTRY MARKET

The North Wicklow country market takes place in the community centre every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Helen O’Malley has her line dancing class this Sunday from 7.30 p.m. upstairs. Is there an area near you which could do with a bit of a tidy up? The Tidy Towns group are appealing to residents throughout the parish to adopt even a small area with a view to maintainin­g it even for just one year.
