TY SCHOOL SHOW

The TYs brought flair and grace to Dundrum Town Centre as they practised their moves in preparation for the TY show which this year takes place on February 9 and 10. Danielle Byrne is assisting this year with the dancing and as always we have Ciaran Fitzgerald as maestro of light and sound while Miss King is writer, director and mentor to the students who love the opportunity to showcase their talents. The show is a mash up of fairy tale stories told in a unique way as can only happen in Coláiste Eoin. We wish the students well as they rehearse and know the show will be a success as always.

The TYs are very busy as they are involved in Zumba, GAA Coaching and also attended a Careers Seminar in Dublin along with senior students.

STUDENT LIFE SUMMIT

Senior students from Coláiste Eoin travelled to the Aer Lingus inaugural Student Life Summit during National Careers Week on January 9. The event gives students the opportunity to explore a host so career choices and engage with a wide number of career sectors in an effort to set them on the right path. The day was an eye opener for all the students and thanks to Miss O’Keeffe for organising the day.

JUNIOR CERT ENGLISH

The third year students completed their assessment task for Junior Cert English in early December. This is just the beginning of deadlines for projects for third and sixth year students and the new term brings oral examinations and practical and project work completion dates. We wish the students the best in their endeavours.

The third years had a small reward as they ventured to Dundrum to release some tension on the ice and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
