COMMERCIAL vacancy rates in Wicklow have increased from 12.5 per cent in Q4 2015 to 12.6 per cent in Q4 2016. This is still below the national average which has increased, from 12.6 per cent to 13.5 per cent during the same time period, according to new research published by GeoDirectory today. Between Q4 2015 and Q4 2016, commercial vacancy rates in Wicklow Town increased from 13.3 per cent to 14.7 per cent, Arklow saw an increase of 1.6pp to 20 per cent, Greystones saw an increase of 0.6pp to 5.7 per cent and Bray recorded a decrease of 1.3pp to 12.7 per cent.
