ENNISKERRY
Scór - If anyone would like to represent Enniskerry at this year’s Scór competition please contact Liam Kane, the competition will be held in Wicklow Town on March 3rd.
Anything from dancing to singing, reciting poetry or acting is welcomed at Scór so if you see yourself as Enniskerry’s next Patrick Kavanagh or Michael Flatley, give Liam a shout, the club would love to have some representatives entered!
Men’s Team - The men are back training Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30, if you fancy getting back into playing GAA please call in on either training days or contact Gary Kavanagh.
Ladies Team - The ladies are still looking to find a manager, if you or anyone you know may be interested please get in touch with the club, no experience is necessary just someone with a good understanding of the game would be a help. The ladies are training currently once a week on Tuesdays at 7.30, all new players welcome.
Club Clean Up - Thanks to all who were up early last Saturday sanding doors and painting inside the clubhouse! We’re not finished yet but a great start was made by Gary, Dara, Liam, Larry, James Ennis and Maloney, Ultan, Gavin, Naomi, Helen, Bex and Christine.
National Draw - All National Draw tickets must be returned by Wednesday, February 8, to either Bex, Gary, Dara or Ultan.
If anyone would like to buy a ticket with all proceeds going to the club get in touch with any senior player or club member.
Committee Reminder - There will be a committee meeting next Monday, February 13 at 7.30pm in the clubhouse.
GAA Foundation Coaching Course - We had four members attend the foundation coaching course last week – Naomi Kiernan, Larry Brady, Roise Ambrose and David Gross.
All had a great and informative evening gaining insight into methods of coaching within the GAA. Lots of info/knowledge/experience was shared between participants on the night. Well done to all for attending.
Juveniles - The nursery to u11s will start back on March 3, if anyone has any questions please contact Eamon Skelly or Larry Brady, a note will be sent to all schools to take home the week before as a reminder with info for the upcoming season included.
