GAA COACHING PROGRAMME

Congratulations to the TY students who completed the GAA Coaching and Concussion Awareness Programme. The course was facilitated by Brendan Hayden Youth Development Officer County Carlow GAA. The students learned the priorities and the principles of coaching children. There was also a very practical element to the module which included organisational skills, drills, games and peer teaching. To complete the module students are expected to volunteer locally and assist with training and mentoring younger teams.
