BASKETBALL

Well done to the senior basketball players who beat CCM last Friday, January 27. The girls played the last match of their season very well, winning 18-30. The team was captained by Ciara Reilly and included Niamh O’Brien, Rebecca Heeran, Caitlin Griffey, Maria Carmen Rostell, Nicole Humby, Lauren Kelly, Tegan Kavanagh, Ella Glover, Emer McNulty, Eve Christie (absent players: Megan Doherty Roche, Megan Dunne). Thanks to CCM for hosting the match and congratulations girls.

SWIMMING

Congratulations to all students and colleagues on a tremendous turnout for the Cheerios Childline Breakfast on last Thursday morning. €1,800 was raised for Childline. The event is always a huge success with the donation going to a very worthy cause. We acknowledge and thank all of the students for their cooperation and in particular our sixth Year students who organise and coordinate the event.

YSI BAKE SALE

Congratulations to the YSI students who raised over €750 during the Christmas Bazaar in their Bake Sale. The students will continue to work with the local charity Home Link.
