The Glencormac under-10s played out a thriller on Sunday morning in Ryders. The heavy overnight frost looked like it was the winner on the day but thankfully the pitch thawed out just before kickoff and their game v Coolboy went ahead. The Glens trailed early but then managed to lead 2-1 but couldn’t hold on and it finished 4-3 to the visitors.

The Under-nines were up next and they had a superb four games with Greystones with Kaiter Bareto, Ross Marchelski, John McEllinhenny and Oisin Shortt all in great form. The under-11s faced faced Aughrim and twice came back to win 3-2 with two goals from Reuben Smith and the other from Evan Wylie with great performances from Cian Redden and Billy Mansfield.

The under-13s were at home to Arklow Town in their Cup Quarter Final and made it through to the Semi’s after a 2-1 win. Dylan Henry was the two goal hero here, getting the first before Arklow replied instantly, then popping up with a late winner.

The only team that were away last weekend was the under-eights who travelled to Rathdrum to play Avonmore. The games were very evenly matched with Seán Minto grabbing a Hat trick with Jamie Guerin also scoring and Darragh Murray in fantastic form.
