Our Leinster First Team wel­comed Swords Celtic to Bridge­wa­ter Cen­tre Park on Fri­day night and, in what proved to be a fan­tas­tic dis­play of foot­ball for Town, they walked away with a well de­served three points af­ter clinch­ing three goals against Swords Celtic, with a fi­nal score­line of 3-1.

Goalscor­ers for Town on the night were Cor­mac Hy­land with a brace and Daragh Cul­leton who scored a penalty.

Ark­low Town WDFL Youths are now at the top of the league fol­low­ing their 6-2 win against Ark­low United on Satur­day af­ter­noon.

Su­per striker Clive Keenan shot in four with the other goals com­ing from Ryan Fowler and Chris Fur­long. Well done to you all.

A truly mag­nif­i­cent dis­play from our un­der-16 girls team who trav­elled to Moyne Rangers on Satur­day morn­ing, saw them walk­ing out 7-1 win­ners with each and ev­ery­one of them putting in a great per­for­mance on the pitch.

Goals came from Holly and Ella Jenk­in­son (2 each) Molly Gar­land (2) and Katie Davis. Keep up the great work girls, you are a credit to our club.

We are de­lighted to an­nounce an­other fun soc­cer camp that will take place at our club in Lam­ber­ton.

The camp will run over four days, with the em­pha­sis be­ing “fun for all”, on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of Fe­bru­ary from 10am un­til 1pm daily. The cost of the camp is €10 per child per day or €35 for four days.

A great way to get the kids out and ac­tive on their school mid term break play­ing foot­ball in a fun and safe en­vi­ron­ment at Ark­low Town Foot­ball Club.

Along with pre­sea­son train­ing twice weekly, our un­der-13 and un­der-14 DDSL teams took to the track at the Coral Leisure Cen­tre on Satur­day morn­ing to work on their fit­ness in a se­ries of strength and con­di­tion­ing ex­er­cises.

Un­der the di­rec­tion of Club Coaches John Scan­lon and Owen Moore, this in­tense work­out was ex­tremely ben­e­fi­cial to them all and, de­spite the very cold weather, a great time was had by all who at­tended.

Our un­der-17 DDSL team trav­elled to a very cold and win­tery Woodlands Pitch on Sun­day to con­tinue their DDSL Pre-Sea­son Friendly Tour­na­ment.

They walked out 1-0 win­ners, goal cour­tesy of Joshua Mills. This win sees them five points clear at the top in their group.

Ark­low Town FC hold spe­cialised Goal­keeper train­ing at our fa­cil­ity in Bridge­wa­ter Cen­tre Park on Fri­day nights for all our club goal­keep­ers. To­tally free of charge, these are held un­der the di­rec­tion of IPK qual­i­fied coaches and are very well re­ceived by all who at­tend.

Our Lit­tle As­tros Club con­tin­ues every Satur­day morn­ing from 10am un­til 11am. Fo­cus­ing on the fun el­e­ment of foot­ball, it is com­pletely free of charge to all boys and girls aged be­tween four and seven years years old. It is ran by a team of fully qual­i­fied coaches on our astro fa­cil­ity in Bridge­wa­ter Cen­tre Park. New­com­ers al­ways wel­come.

Our Bingo Snow­ball is cur­rently stand­ing at €4,750! Held every Thurs­day night in our main club­house in Lam­ber­ join us to take part in a great nights entertainment with loads of cash prizes on of­fer. First num­ber is called at 8.30pm.

Our Club Lotto Ground Devel­op­ment fund is now at an im­pres­sive €5,950. Tick­ets are priced at €2 each and can be pur­chased at our Club Shop in Lam­ber­ton or with any com­mit­tee mem­ber or in var­i­ous out­lets through­out the town. Our weekly draw takes place every Thurs­day night at 9.30pm.
