Cannabis fine

A NEWCASTLE man found with a small amount of cannabis was handed a fine at Wicklow District Court last Tuesday, February 14.

Gavin Dunne (21), 5 Seamount Drive, Newcastle, appeared before the court to answer the charge. Gardaí searched Dunne at a car at Trooperstown, Roundwood, on August 15, 2016, and found the cannabis worth €20. Judge David Kennedy handed down a €150 fine.
