TWO outreach clinics are being providing in County Wicklow twice a month for the deaf and hard of hearing.

The free drop-in service, which is being provided by Deafhear. ie, will take place at Wicklow Primary Healthcare Centre on the Port Road at Knockrobin on the first Monday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and at Bray Health Centre, located in Block B of the Civic Centre on Main Street on the third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m..

The clinics offer support and information on all aspects of deafness and hearing loss in children and adults. Other services provided include information factsheets, technical aids, benefits and entitlements, family support, information for parents and tinnitus information. The free and confidential service is open to all.

The next drop-in clinic at Wicklow Primary Healthcare Centre takes place on March 1. This service is being provided to facilitate people living in isolated or rural areas who otherwise might not be able to access any of the Deafhear.ie resource offices.
