Willoughby Brothers to launch new album

-

SOUTH Wicklow singing sensations The Willoughby Brothers will launch their brand new album ‘He’s My brother’ in concert at the Ashdown Park Hotel this Saturday, April 8, at 8 p.m.

Having just returned from an extensive three week tour of the US which included performances in New York, Massachusetts, Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Florida, the Coolboy brothers are looking forward to performing the songs from their new album on home soil.

‘He’s My Brother’ takes the group on a slightly different musical path from their previous albums The Promise and Irish Heart. It features their RTE Radio 1 playlisted single ‘Don’t It Feel Good’ which is an upbeat, feel good song. The current single ‘Love Is Like A River’ is sure to keep listeners fingers clicking and feet tapping with it’s Country/ Gospel influence.

Their respectful treatment of songs like ‘Rhythm Of My Heart’ ‘Everything Is Beautiful’ the Beatles classic ‘Let It Be’ and ‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother’ with their beautiful arrangements are sure to bring this vocal group to the attention of a much wider audience. ‘I Believe’ and ‘Feels Like Home’ are both uplifting and inspirational ballads along with a stunning solo in ‘Always There’ by Des, a song composed by the same writers as ‘You Raise Me Up’

The final track on the album is a remake of their very first single ‘ The Lights of The City’ which proved very popular on Tony Kehoe’s South East Radio Show, reaching to No.1 spot on the most requested for a number of weeks.

Their intricate and melodic harmonies are what makes this album stand out and will please all lovers of music. Saturday nights concert is the start of a string of Irish concert dates and all their concert details can be found on their website www.thewilloughbybrothers.com

Tickets are €20 and are available from hotel reception, by calling 053 9480500, from their website or at the door on the night. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
