Wicklow face Longford after semi-final win

Fermanagh had a final chance but a wonderful save by Kim Connors in the Wicklow goal kept the Fermanagh girls at bay.

The final score read Fermanagh 2-03 to Wicklow’s 0-12 when referee Gallagher blew the final whistle.

Wicklow now move on to the final on Sunday week where they will again do battle with Longford who easily accounted for Carlow in the other semi-final. Wicklow will need to improve but certainly have the capability to do so and this final should be a close affair with the venue to be confirmed later in the week.
