FIRST YEAR PRESENTATIONS
As part of the first year work, students in Coláiste Chraobh Abhann had to devise and present a five-minute talk on a subject of their choice. The students put effort into their presentations and the chosen topics were both interesting and varied ranging from the Kings of Ancient Egypt to Safety around Houses. The presentations were judged by councillor Nicola Lawless. After intense deliberation the winner was Megan McDonald with her presentation on ‘The History of the Circus in Ireland’. Runners-up were Ryan Hayden, who researched the early life of Donald Trump and Callum Farrelly for his work on Darth Vadar. Well done to all students.
