A BRILLIANT BLITZ!
Bray Emmets host a superb third and fourth class day
BRAY EMMETS hosted an Allianz Cumann na mBunscol blitz for third and fourth class boys on June 14.
Schools in attendance were St Cronans, Kilcoole, St Laurence’s, Newtown and Gaelscoil Ui Cheadaigh.
Each school had three matches and the games were nine-a-side. The games were played at a high intensity and there were fine skills on show.
We hope the boys continue to improve their skills with their clubs over the summer and we look forward to meeting again!
Third and fourth Class Girls Football - Allianz Cumann na mBunscol are hosting a ninea-side third/fourth class girls Gaelic football blitz on Wednesday, June 21.
The blitz will start at 11.45am in Bray Emmets GAA. Schools are encouraged to enter multiple teams if possible.
Please let Garrett Doyle, Wicklow GAA, know if you will be attending.
West Wicklow Junior Infants ‘Have A Ball’ Fun Day - This is a fun day for junior infants in schools from West Wicklow.
The day will focus on fun games and activities for children that focus on improving movement skills in the children.
The Leinster Roadshow inflatable pitch will also be there on the day.
Please note if your school is interested in taking part on the day please contact Paul Garrigan, Wicklow GDA, as soon as possible as numbers will be limited on the day.
Venue: Hollywood GAA Grounds, June 21 from 11.30am1.00pm.
First /second class nine-a-side mixed hurling/camogie blitz (max two teams per school - Schools: Kilbride, Lacken, St Marys, Blessington No 1, Gaelscoil Blessington, Blessington Ed Together, Dunlavin, Hollywood, Baltinglass, Kiltegan, Tynock, Talbotstown, Donard and Valleymount.
