Top speakers to visit Wicklow for Network Ireland’s national conference
INTERNATIONAL speakers such as Hana Mottlová, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Ireland and Chanelle McCoy from Dragons’ Den will address Network Ireland’s annual conference which this year takes place in the Garden County.
Over 250 delegates are lined up for the Druid’s Glen Hotel on Friday, October 6, and there will also be a focus on business successes in Wicklow which will feature Catherine Fulvio of Ballyknocken House, Ashford; Rachel Doyle, Managing Director Arboretum, Kilquade; Niamh Hannan of Mindworks, Bray; Sir Steven Wilkinson of Grow and Prosper, Delgany, and Network Ireland’s President, Rebecca Harrison of Fishers of Newtownmountkennedy.
Speaking ahead of the conference, she said: ‘I am delighted to bring our flagship event to Wicklow this year. Wicklow is a phenomenal county to do business in and to live in. I can’t wait to share with our members travelling from the four corners of the country all that the garden county has to offer. The ‘Creating Opportunities’ conference will feature a range of national and international speakers, workshops and panel sessions. Chairing the Conference will be award-winning journalist Jennifer O’Connell of the Irish Times and O’Connell and Ivory Communication.
After the conference a Gala Dinner takes place in Druid’s Glen from 6.30 p.m. where the tenth Network Businesswoman of the Year awards will be taking place. Wicklow winners going through to the National Finals are Molly Williams, Hidden Valley Holiday Village and Christmas Island, Rathdrum; Audrey Dalton, Pawtrait, Killincarraig and Leigh Williams, Wicklow Brewery, Redcross.
The conference lasts from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m..
