Big football blitz coming up in Bray
ALLIANZ fifth and sixth class boys football participation day - There will be an Allianz Cumann na mBunscol fifth and sixth class boys GAA football blitz next Wednesday, October 25.
The focus of the day is on participation and giving as many children as possible the experience of playing football, regardless of experience.
If you are sending more than one team please indicate whether they will be mixed ability teams or selected by experienced/inexperienced players.
Games will be nine-a-side. Points only. One goalkeeper, three defenders, two midfielders, three forwards.
There will be no Thursday football this time around.

Any young whistlers in your school, willing to attend, are more than welcome and their participation is greatly appreciated.
Girls Participation Day - The Wicklow Times Participation Day (fifth and sixth class girls football) was cancelled due to school closures, will be re-scheduled
The girls’ day had to be cancelled due to the schools closures with the bad weather. All schools were emailed regarding this cancellation. A new date will be arranged. David McDonnell, Girls Football Officer, will be in contact with you after the boys blitz to confirm this date. If you need any information please contact David on 087-7715885 or via email.
