-

SEAN ALLEN, Arklow’s star light heavyweight, is set to have his final home bout in the Arklow Bay Hotel on Friday, November 3

Sean will face the talented Robbie Burke from Glasnevin in what promises to be a cracking bout.

Sean boxed a special exhibition against Darren O’Neill out of Paulstown at the weekend and as usual it turned into a war with both boxers scoring with solid punches to head and body.

It’s hard to believe that both boxers are such good friends outside the ring but when the gloves are on and the bell rings both will always box to win.

The bill which will feature 20 of Arklow’s top boxers including Fergal Redmond who will be in with an opponent from Glasnevin or Curragh.

Sean Crowley will be in action against Derek Maguire of the Holy Family Drogheda club and this should be a cracker as both boys are national champions.

Aaron Tuke will be in against David Nevin of Holy Family and Owen Moore will box Nevin’s brother Gerry.

Josh Whitmore is matched with Tadgh Donnelly of Holy Family while Michael Moorehouse will swap punches with Nathan Tyrrell out of Sacre Couer.
