Open Church and Daily Prayer: Open Church and Daily Prayer has ceased for the season in Powerscourt Church after 35 weeks during 2017. Special thanks goes to the team who mind the church and lead the prayer each day. During those weeks over 1,100 visitors spent time in the church for quiet time and reflection, sometimes lighting a prayer candle and often sharing stories of family connections with the church and graveyard. To mark the end of the season a number of the team spent some time in Glendalough on Saturday, October 14, for a mini retreat ending with lunch in the Heather Restaurant.
