Mass Times: St Mary’s Church: Weekday Morning Mass, 10.15 a.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Prayer Service: 10.15 a.m., Wednesday, Friday. Mass on first Friday of the month at 10.15 a.m. Baptism: Baptisms are now held on the second Sunday of the month. November 12 – baptisms in Enniskerry at midday; December 10 in Kilmacanogue at 2 p.m. for parishioners only. Parishioners are asked to give two weeks notice. Curtlestown: Sunday Mass at 10 a.m.; Glencree: 9 a.m. Mass on the First Sunday of the month; Kilmacanaogue: Sundays and Fridays at 10 a.m. Holy Days – as announced.
Sacrament of Reconciliation – (Confessions): Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray – Saturday after 10.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Masses; Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray – Saturday after 10 a.m. Mass.
St Mary’s: Confessions are held after 10.15 a.m. Mass on Saturday morning. Exposition of Blessed Sacrament after 10.15 a.m. Prayer Service each Friday morning. The Rosary is recited each morning at 9.55 a.m. in the Prayer Room. The Rosary Group meet on first Monday of each month in St Mary’s Prayer Room at 7 p.m.
Curtlestown by Candelight This Saturday: Organised by Curtlestown parents’ association, this concert of classical music of Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, and Piazzolla, takes place by candlelight at 7.30 p.m. this Saturday night in the intimate setting of St Patrick’s Church, Curtlestown, performed by Catherina Lemoni – piano, David O’Doherty – violin, Moya O’Grady – cello, and with very special guests St Patrick’s National School Choir. Tickets are €10 for adults, children free and can be obtained from Sorcha Burton at 086 1718652, Paddy.

St Kevin’s Church, Glencree, Enniskerry – winter Months 2017 – 2018: The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered here for the Healing of All Generations at 3 p.m. on the following First Saturdays: December 2 and January 6, 2018, The feast of the Epiphany. Legion of Mary – Kilmacanogue Presidium: Meet at 11.30 a.m. every Tuesday in the sacristy of St Mochonog’s. New members are most welcome. Group recite the Rosary on the first Saturday of each month at midday at the Grotto in the church grounds. Visit legionofmary.ie to view website.
A CLASSICAL CHRISTMAS
The Enniskerry Concert Choir and special guest, internationally renowned soprano Niamh Murray, present a wonderful Christmas musical celebration. Traditional and contemporary favourites, including O Holy Night, In the Bleak Midwinter, Silent Night, Christmas Angel, The Holy City, and many more. Conductor and Musical Director: Gloria Smith, Accompanist: Charles Pearson.
This musical event takes place on Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17, in St Mary’s Church, Enniskerry, at 7 p.m. Sharp. Tickets €20 (included mulled wine/fruit punch and mince pies) available from School and parish offices in Kilmacanogue and Enniskerry and from the Parting Glass in Enniskerry. In aid of Kilmacanogue NS, Enniskerry N.S. and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
HISTORY SOCIETY
James Scannell will be the guest speaker for the 8.30 p.m. Thursday, December 14, meeting of the Enniskerry History Society in the Powerscourt Arms and Country House Hotel Society, at which he will present his illustrated lecture ‘They Went On Their Own: Dublin Firefighters and Easter 1941 Belfast Blitz’. All welcome – admission €5.
Events coming up which may be of interest to members include this Saturdays 2017 Dublin City Library Local History Day from 9 a.m. to 2.15 p.m. in Dublin City Library and Archive, 138-144 Pearse Street, Dublin – admission free. This event showcases some of the excellent work being done by historians on the civic, social, and political history of Dublin. The esteemed speakers include James Scannell on ‘The 1867 Bray Head Train Derailment’, Liz Gillis on ‘The Rebel Liberties’, Frank Whearity on ‘Tom Ashe’, John Dorney on ‘The Civil War in Dublin’, and Liam O’Meara on ‘The history of Keogh Square’.
The 2018 Dublin City Library and Archive Local History Society Group Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, in the Dublin City Library and Archive, 138-144 Pearse Street, Dublin – details of the programme will be issued in due course.

KILMAC CHRISTMAS FAIR
The senior citizens committee are holding a Christmas fair in the Parish Hall, Kilmacanogue on Sunday December December 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Home baking and unwanted new gifts can be given to any committee member before the fair which would be greatly appreciated. Later that evening the annual Christmas Dinner will be held in the Summerhill House Hotel at 6 p.m. This will as always be a great evening and the music will be provided by Cressendo this year.
