Bray Credit Union Pat Woods Scholarship
BRAY Credit Union Ltd are now in their 3rd year running The Pat Woods Scholarship worth €8,000 for the duration of a 4 year course. You can find all the details at www.braycu. ie closing date is Friday 7th September 2018.
2017 winner of The Pat Woods Scholarship is former BIFE student, Lily Boyle from Bray, who is studying a BA in Fine Art in Limerick School Art and Design. Lily recently arrived at Bray Credit Union to meet the credit union team and last year’s scholarship winners. Lily is awarded €2,000 each year towards her college education for the duration of 4 years.

You will see first-hand the training courses they have on offer. The centre on the Boghall Road in Bray opens its doors every Wednesday from 11.00am –to 1.00pm and people are invited to come along to meet current students and instructors to learn more about their training courses. It’s a great opportunity to see first-hand what’s involved in the courses and to see the additional supports that are on offer such as education supports, psychologist, and peer support to help you to a new start!
The courses, funded by the Kildare & Wicklow Education and Training Board, offered here are:
Vocational Skills Foundation which leads to a QQI Level 3 in Employability Skills,
Employer Based Training, which is a job seeking course, which leads to a QQI Level 4 in Employment Skills
IT and Business Administration which leads to a QQI Level 5 in Information Processing
