Stars honoured at shindig in Royal Hotel
A large crowd turned up for the Wicklow Athletics Star awards which took place in the Royal Hotel in Bray last Friday night.
Bill Porter, Chairman of Wicklow Athletics, believes that 2017 was one of the most successful years for Wicklow athletics in his memory with the women’s teams achieving massive success at home at abroad.
“I’d like to say well done to all the athletes for their hard work and dedication during 2017, and to all their coaches,” said Bill. “I’d also like to thank Cyril Smyth for putting the programme together and looking up all the results.
