Babies at the Bridge meets every Tuesday 10.30 till 12 at the Epworth Hall, Florence Road. For new mums, dads or minders and their first baby. Age group: Newborn up to crawling. Voluntary contributi­on of €3. Tea, coffee, biscuits and chat. excited to announce this new edition to the annual fundraiser. It’s such as great way to not only get fit but to meet the local community of Wicklow’. The staff at East Coast FM are all polishing their running shoes and excited to get fit for 2018 and raise funds for these vital services in Wicklow’.

A registrati­on event will take place at the Glenview Hotel on Wednesday, January 17, at 7.30 p.m.

The night will include details on how to train for the event. Throughout the year there will be group runs and walks to keep everyone on track. Each runner will receive an East Coast FM team T-shirt plus transport on mini-marathon day.

The staff and volunteers contact members with regular phone calls, arrange small repairs and organise a range of social events throughout the year.

Meanwhile, the mini marathon takes place on Sunday, June 3, and Open Door are looking for walkers, joggers and runners to take part.

Open Door will provide transport from Bray to the event and returning to the centre after the race for a reception
