Active retirement events

Greystones Active Retirement Association has a number of events planned for the coming months.

There will be a coffee morning on Friday, March 23 at 10.30 a.m. at Kilian House Family Centre. John Stephenson will speak to members about jobs to do in the garden in spring.

On Wednesday, April 11, there will be a day trip to Glasnevin Cemetery with a guided tour. The coach leaves at 9.30 a.m. and the cosst is €25.

There will be a holiday to Carlingford, County Lough, staying at the Four Seasons Hotel, from April 23 to 27.

The cost is €370 per person sharing or €430 single. A deposit of €50 can be paid at the GARA booking office at Kilian House on Tuesdays from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

On Wednesday, May 2, there will be a day trip to Russborough House, Blessington, with guided tour. The coach leaves at 10 a.m. and the cost is €25.

There will be a visit to Bloom in the Phoenix Park on Thursday, May 31, with arrangements to follow.

On Sunday, June 10, there will be a day trip to Nicholas Mosse Pottery, Bennettsbridge, County Kilkenny and the Arboretum at Leighlinbridge, County Carlow.
