CHARITY DAY

The annual charity day to raise funds for Easter Eggs for Newcastle Hospital takes place on Saturday, March 24, in Byrne’s Pub from 12.00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Additional funds will be split between the Samaritans, Greystones Resource Centre, Greystones Cancer Support and Kilcoole Parent and Toddler Group.

There will be tables selling arts, crafts and bric-à-brac. The mega raffle features 60 prizes and first prize is a voucher for a weekend way in a Trident Holiday Home. Other activities include Easter Bonnet competitio­n, tea and Coffees, Homemade Cakes and lots of Guess the Weight challenges including Vera’s Simnel Cake. Please come along and support this event.

BINGO

Come join us for Monday Night Bingo in St Patrick’s Hall, Kilcoole. First game at 8 p.m. €10 per book (to include loose sheet and jackpot game). Extra loose sheet €1. Raffle Tickets on sale on the night. All welcome to attend.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

The centre is available for bookings (e.g. classes, meetings, birthday parties). Bookings can be made via email kilcoolecc@ gmail.com or by phone 01 2872017. The office is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is closed for lunch between 12.30 p.m and 1.15 p.m.

INDOOR BOWLS

Bowls takes place every Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in St Patrick’s/Forrester’s Hall. New members are welcome.

PARENT/TODDLER GROUP

All are welcome to come along to the parent and toddler group at the community centre from 10.30 p.m. to midday every Wednesday. €2 per child.
