A Magpie legend Jack Martin passed away last week. Jack was left full back on the 1964 championship winning team and also played on many Schweppes Cup winning teams. He was one of the most formidable defenders of his generation and was certainly not a player you wanted marking you. Our deepest condolences are with Kathleen, Denise and Anna. May he rest in peace.

Membership fees are now due and again are one of the lowest in the county, there are no changes to the individual fees with Juvenile family fee at €120 and adult family at €200.

The club would like some parents to walk with their kids in the St Patrick’s Day parade, leaving Gregorys Garage at 11.00 on Saturday morning.
