ADELE IS THE TOAST OF THE TOWN

-

ARKLOW author Adele O’Neill was the toast of the town recently as she launched her second novel.

Hot on the heels of her debut novel success for ‘Brothers & Sisters’, Adele was delighted to officially launch her latest offering ‘Behind a Closed Door’. The event took place at Arklow Golf Club and welcomed many local friends and supporters as well as RTÉ Gold radio star Rick O’Shea who performed the launch.

‘It’s always lovely when you get to do something nice for nice people, Adele O’ Neill is one of those people,’ he said.

Described as ‘an emotionally tense story of love, loyalty, betrayal and revenge,’ ‘Behind a Closed Door’ is a gripping crime thriller centred around the delicate them of domestic abuse and the impact on its characters and those around them. Fans of Adele’s work will be pleased to see the return of Detectives Kennedy and Kelly who featured in ‘Brothers & Sisters’ and were an instant hit with readers.

‘It really was a fantastic evening and I’m overwhelmed with the amount of people that showed up to help launch Behind A Closed Door. Rick did an amazing job at launching the book and his speech was very touching. I’m truly honoured that Rick came all the way to Arklow to help give Behind A Closed Door a great start, he had only come off air at 6pm that evening and he raced out of RTE studios to get to us in great time,’ said Adele.
