SUMMER SHORTS FROM GREYSTONES PLAYERS
THE TALENTED actors and musicians of Greystones Players put together an evening of ‘Summer Shorts’ for their fans recently in Whale Theatre.
The show was an evening of comedy sketches, one-act plays and musical performances which tickled the funny-bones of the audience members.
Creative director Aideen Walton worked tireless- ly to help pull all the sketches together.
There were two nights only of the run, which was very well attended as the group has proved its high standards already on several occasions.
Founded in September 2016, Greystones Players is a non-profit community drama group based in Greystones. Their aim is to bring people together to work collaboratively on making great theatre, and to enrich the cultural life of the town and area.
Previous productions by the group include Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa, The Playboy of the Western World by JM Synge, and Connections - an evening of one-act plays.
They will return to workshops in the autumn.
