Courthouse concert for Sheridan

-

IRISH singer-songwriter Ryan Sheridan comes to the Courthouse Arts Centre on Saturday, July 14, ahead of his upcoming US tour.

The multi-instrumentalist, pictured right, started his career touring with ‘Riverdance the show’.

After leaving the show in New York Ryan went on to perform his own songs in East Village cafes, pubs and clubs, perfecting his six-string skills and percussive attack which is his unique sound. Returning to busk on the streets of Dublin he was spotted by a talent scout, and went on to be a No. 1 Platinum selling artist with tours both at home and in mainland Europe. Ryan will play this acoustic set with Ronan Nolan, who has worked with numerous bands refining his sound. Known for his ‘ hard hitting powerhouse’ style drumming he is the go-to session musician for recording artists around the world.

They first played together when they supported Rodrigo y Gabriela on their 2016 US tour, we will be one of the first to hear their new material ahead of their own US tour. Doors open at 8.30 p.m. and tickets are €22/20.
