AGRI and agri-tech start-up businesses in Wicklow are being encouraged to take part in this year’s Enterprise Ireland Innovation Arena at the National Ploughing Championships.

Applications are being accepted until Friday, July 6 and innovative agri companies from around the county are invited to apply to showcase their products at the heart of the Innovation Arena at the National Ploughing Championships which takes place in Tullamore from September 18-20.

The Innovation Arena provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and start-ups operating in agri and agri-tech to showcase ground-breaking agri-related developments. Inventions developed at home or professional innovations from larger companies are welcome to the Arena to be displayed to the thousands of visitors the National Ploughing Championships attracts each year.

The overall award winner will receive a top prize worth €15,000 from Enterprise Ireland and The Irish Farmers Journal which includes advertising and PR support, mentoring and a cash prize of €5,000. To enter this year’s Innovation Arena Awards visit www.innovationarena.ie
