Well done to all the children from Ashford and Glenealy who represented the area at county Track and Field finals in Shillelagh and congratulations to all the medal winners especially Noah Harris who won Gold in U12 600m. Noah will now go forward to represent Wicklow at the Aldi National Finals in Limerick on August 18/19.

Silver medal winners: U14 100m Cara Kavanagh; U13 Mixed Relay Noah Harris, Finn Harris, Aaron Armstrong, Mary McElhinney and Ellen Harkin; U16 100m John Mc Elhinney; U14 Cycling Ronan McElhinney.

Bronze Medal Winners: U6 60m Alia Harris; U14 800m Finn Harris; U16 100m Taylor Cahill; U12 Ball Throw Jonah Fanning; U14 Long Puck Jessica Byrne and Haley Connolly Driver.

Well done to all who competed on the day – you are all winners. A sincere thank you to team manager Andrea Dunne and her team of helpers who trained looked after the children on the day. To the coaches, parents, schools thanks for your continued support of our games. To all the children who competed in our area – a huge thank you and hope you enjoyed the experience of taking part in Community Games.
